This bedroom is such perfection - a palette of pink and green, a canopy bed, Gracie chinoiserie wallpaper, a faux bamboo bench, a pink ceiling, a slipper chair, beautiful linens, and sconces. Look at the detailing on the canopy bed - silver leaf detailing, wooden tassels, a gorgeous pink canopy crown, and the canopy top wrapped in raffia.
The bed was designed by Buatta. This NYC duplex was his final project.

This is perfection! And the view! The chandelier is reminiscent of your new one and Gracie can do no wrong in my eyes!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing about the chandelier.
DeleteMario Buatta is a legend! Love his work! And I adore that gorgeous Gracie wallpaper!
ReplyDeleteA lovely room.
DeleteI love that wallpaper❤️. Wonder where it is from?
ReplyDeleteGracie.
DeleteJust amazing and beautiful. Living in a home decorated by Mario, you would never be depressed! So sad that he has left us. I wonder who his artisans were that constructed that bed.
ReplyDeleteI loved his work. Don't know about the bed.
DeleteGorgeous. The wallpaper is spectacular, of course, but I also really love that bench. One of the things I love about his bedrooms is that when he dresses the beds, the actual mattresses I mean, they're pretty but also look so utilitarian and used by the client. They never give the impression that it's staged and all of that will be cast off and not used. His rooms feel like real life, completely practical glamour. I just loved his work.
ReplyDeleteExcellent points.
DeleteDid you see the new Talbot’s catalogue? Blue and white vases on fabric and purse!!!! I love your column! Thanks for your efforts!
ReplyDeleteYes, I did see the Talbot's and thank you.
