I absolutely adore a corner banquette and this one is quite wonderful with its Dorothy Draper banana leaf fabric Brazilliance and bullion fringe. The walls are painted Packard Blue from the Dorothy Draper/Carleton Varney Collection.
I love the bamboo directors chairs - definitely my favorite folding chairs. The tiki statues are a fun choice here.
It would be quite a project cleaning that window though - lots of heavy moving.
Love the banana leaf fabric!! A natural/jute rug would bring this all together for me.
ReplyDeleteAgree about the jute rug. The tile reminds me of one of those 60’s drive in cinder- block construction motels. Wholesome, to be sure but there’s that vibe.
DeleteThe fabric is a classic. Love!
I personally can stand rugs in dining areas.
DeleteNot only would the window be hard to clean, but how about that giant wall mirror behind the other side of the banquette? Love the directors' chairs, though.
ReplyDeleteA long handled squeegee.
DeleteI do like a good banana print; however, wouldn't a raffia trim look better than the black boullion?
ReplyDeleteI love green and black personally.
