My goal was to finish all the projects in my home and garden in 2020 and miraculously, the last two things on my list worked out. My wallpaper hanger showed up last week and my canvas palm tree that had been hung up at the port in Tampa was sprung and I picked it up Tuesday and assembled it yesterday. It's ten feet tall - very dramatic!
So no more projects - I am so looking forward to just chilling for a while. I have a lovely bottle of my favorite French Champagne for tonight to wave this dumpster fire of a year goodbye. Hopefully better days are ahead for all of us. Stay safe. A Happier New Year to all.

ReplyDeleteThe tree looks better than I ever imagined Its sheer height and the shadows it casts gives the whole room a dose of opulence and whimsy and pulls everything together.

DeleteLove the tree! I wasn't sure about it, but now that I see it in your home, I think it's just wonderful. I recall seeing a picture of a house decorated by Ralph Lauren once - I'm not sure if it was his house, or someone else's - but it had carved wooden palms as pilasters, and it was just stunning.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Beth, and please tell me the name of your favorite French Champagne.
