I hope everyone has a lovely and safe Thanksgiving. Let's all try to focus on the positive and believe that there are better days ahead.
I love this table setting. Harvest colors done my way with chinoiserie china and accessories and lots of potted orchids. BTW my Publix had gorgeous peonies yesterday - in November - that was a lovely surprise.
Do you notice the silverware is placed facing down and the napkin is on the right? Very French - he is based in Paris.
Beautiful table. And WOW! at peonies in November. They must have come up from South America where it's spring.

DeleteGorgeous! I wish I had bought plates like those when I could have ordered them hand painted. I'll have to pick up some peonies from Publix. I did my table yesterday.

DeleteI wonder if the orchids would be removed before seating. Seems that they would block sight lines and interfere with sparkling conversation. Happy Thanksgiving!

DeleteExquisite and easy to duplicate. I wonder how you feel about colored stemware. I have Waterford Lismore and always feel compelled to set a formal table with it but those jewel tones make that table!
ReplyDeleteI actually really like colored stemware and glassware that is dishwasher safe. There is a reason people are getting rid of silver and crystal.
DeleteBeautiful table! I found peonies last week in a local market out side of Boston last weekend. I believe they are from Chile.
