Welcome to the third edition of Chinoiserie Chic's Fabulous Friday Finds. Thanks for all the emails with positive feedback - so glad you are enjoying this new feature.
I love wonderful Chinoiserie fabrics at great bargains, so let's start again with one. Florals are HUGE this season. This Ralph Lauren Kikko in Onyx is so spot on - a Chinoiserie floral in neutrals. It retails for $330 a yard and
I have found it for you for $17.95 a yard! This fabric is 100% linen. It would be absolutely stunning for curtains or a pair of chairs.
You know my laundry room is dying for one of these
pineapple laundry baskets. A must have for me.

Speaking of pineapples, check out
this vintage silk fabric from the 1950s/60s with palms and pineapples. This is fantastic. A yard or two would make fabulous pillows.
And a fabulous
pineapple print on sale now.
Another wonderful print,
a pink cheetah from The Pink Pagoda. So chic and fun.
Next up are the most chic enameled
ball point pens in amazing colors. I want these for my desk.
I posted on this on Tuesday, but didn't want anyone to miss it. The cutest
Chinoiserie wrapping paper ever, perfect for framing or gift wrapping.
Jonathan Adler giraffe highball glasses for your bar cart.
A darling set of
animal wine stoppers also by Jonathan Adler.
This
beaded flamingo nightlight is so Palm Beach Chic.
Charlotte & Ivy has just introduced
this navy blue Chinese calligraphy wing chair. A pair of these next to a fireplace would be sensational. Note the gorgeous legs and the brass nailheads.
From Marquin Designs,
a beautiful pair of earrings made from vintage Asian - inspired bakelite in green.
I love this next one. Cameroon juju hats are such a great decorating item but can be very expensive costing several hundred dollars. Here is an example of one. I'm crazy about them and have three! I love them used with Chinoiserie - mixing African pieces and Chinoiserie was one of my trends to watch for 2014.
Pottery Barn Kids has this great version made in Turkey and at excellent prices. I love
the small coral pink one and it is only $39.00.
I have a Pinterest board on juju hats for more ideas.
And last, two great finds from my girlfriend
Andrea at The Glam Pad. An amazing
pagoda bed ($100 or Make an Offer) and
pagoda mirror ($75 or Make An Offer) dirt cheap from an eBay seller. These would be amazing painted in a high gloss white or another great color of your choice. Thanks Andrea! The seller is located in New Fairfield, Connecticut in case any of you in the New York metropolitan area could do a local pickup.

I adore this new series...it is all I can do from clicking over to buy half the things on here! My favorite this week is the bed - it would be stunning in a white or brightly colored lacquer!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend!
I love your laundry room - it should be published - it's one of the prettiest ones I've ever seen! For some reason the paper looked familiar and then I remembered it was in a story I wrote - it was in a movie - Hudson on Hyde Park. The set designer claimed it was a Dutch paper - glad to know it's available here! It was shown in the red colorway in the movie - look at my post = halfway through - at the King's bedroom - http://cotedetexas.blogspot.com/2014/02/hyde-park-on-hudson_14.html
ReplyDeleteI think you might enjoy seeing it in red!
Hope all is well!!!
