On Tuesday, one of my favorite bloggers Lindsay from The Pursuit of Style posted about Room & Board's Architecture bed. Random thought..... It is interesting that many of my absolute favorite bloggers are also DC based. Aesthetic Oiseau is another fave. Also, best wishes to Jenny of Little Green Notebook for a full and speedy recovery.
At any rate, I adore canopy beds - I have two in my home and would love more! I can't stop thinking about the architectural boldness of this bed and all the crazy good colors. Unfortunately, in searching the web, all the rooms so far using this bed are deadly dull. Lindsay suggested the bed paired with Chinoiserie wallpaper and white bedding and I couldn't agree more. (Her favorite would be the kelly green bed with turquoise blue Chinoiserie wallpaper).
Here are some of my ideas on fantasy pairings. And trust me, you will start seeing this bed popping up in shelter magazines and design blogs everywhere.
