Nick Olsen has done a wonderful job of using yellow and green in the adjoining room and then picking these colors up in the lamps and roman shades in the Chinoiserie bedroom. BTW, I love the leopard carpet. I've been thinking of using leopard in the entire lower level of my house. Very kid and pet friendly and very chic.
I love the yellow entry way peeking into the bedroom! Luscious! And BTW, I think leopard carpet on your lower level would look awesome!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that carpet! I hope you go for it in your own home!
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog for 6 months now and love it! The leopard carpet has always been a fave and and I finally had an area rug cut for my living room about 4 months ago...I love it! I recently added a dragon lamp into the room, and suddenly with that small gesture it is "chinoiserie chic"! I just have to get the nerve to show everyone on my blog what it looks like:)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the bed. This is exactly what I want for my bedroom but cannot find anything like it. Love!
ReplyDeleteI've saved that Miles Redd bedroom with the leopard carpet and bed corona for a few years, in a big part because of the leopard carpet. With a veritable zoo at my house, it seems to make sense and I intend to use it for a stair runner, too. If you go this route, please, please share your vendor!
ReplyDeleteBright, fresh and definitely fun!! Love these!!!Always a beautiful post!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool bedroom !
ReplyDeleteBeth, make sure you blog where you got the leopard (sp?.) carpet. I would love it also. Vicki
ReplyDeleteJust saw the newest post with the various leopard carpets. After seeing the series of them in several settings I am understanding why I like it...it is exotic, sexy and you can put it in a room with alot of pattern and color and it works. Considering the leopard print is a dramatic element pattern you wouldn’t think it would work as well as it does. Maybe it works because it is slice of our natural world.
