In April we looked at Miles Redd's love of ruffled curtains. Please revisit that post
here. There was quite a range of opinions with some loving them and others detesting them. Here is Miles' latest from the July issue of Architectural Digest. Care to weigh in?
Some people like furnishings from the 50's era, some people like things to be more traditional. Everyone has their own taste. For me, ruffles are out of date. Thats me, to each their own.
ReplyDeleteRuffles scream Aunt Mildred's Overheated House. Yuk. I love Miles Redd, but this is one Southern tradition that belongs in the ashcan
ReplyDeleteI'm liking things clean and unadorned. However, I'm not minding it here. This is a barely ruffle and somehow he makes it work for me.
ReplyDeleteHate it!
ReplyDeleteLIked it the first time. This time, not so much
ReplyDeleteLove Miles Redd, hate ruffles in general, and these in particular. They look thin and cheap, as well as fussy and outdated.
ReplyDeleteI DO NOT CARE FOR THE ABOVE PICTURED CURTAINS -- HOWEVER, I BELIEVE WHAT MAKES HIS RUFFLES "WORK" ARE THE COLORS HE CHOOSES. THE COMBINATIONS ARE EXCITING AND ENGAGING.
