Most lovers of Chinoiserie have a collection of blue and white Chinese porcelain. Use several vases and ginger jars filled with flowers for a stunning holiday centerpiece. Select flowers in either white or a harvest color like orange for Thanksgiving and either white or red for Christmas. If you stick to one color, you can mix different flowers as they did here.

You always choose the most beautiful pictures. Such stunning colors and creative arrangement. My issue with styled table displays is that while beautiful, they are almost never practical. Can you imagine trying to talk to the guests on the other side of the table? I do love the contrast of chinoiserie with the rough-hewn table, sterling flatware and handpainted porcelain. I would probably translate this in real life to a stunning buffet.
