My kitchen is the most green room in my home, with green walls, green floors, and even green Corian countertops. The walls are in a favorite Benjamin Moore celadon that is an old formula but can still be made-ask for #457. This is also where I often blog. Favorite touches include lots of Anne Harwell art (Annechovie), a Marilyn Monroe sketch on a Paul Bocuse recipe by a favorite French artist, and Chinoiserie pieces including a Chinese lantern, a fu dog, and blue and white Chinese porcelain. I bought two Chinese Chippendale stools and had the wonderful Brunschwig & Fils fabric Xian vinylized-makes it impervious to soiling. I love the green and raspberry pink-such a happy room.
Just may be my favorite room in the house! Perfect pieces put together for such a wonderful collected look. And I LOVE the frog! But I can't figure out where he is. Very nice job here.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

I agree. This maybe my favorite. So interesting what we do with our kitchens. In many ways, it's the most personal of all rooms because we usually spend so much time there. I suspect you look really lovely in these colors. Happy (finally almost) spring.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty spot you have created. I love the softness. It has a "salon" or tea room feel.
ReplyDeleteAnne's work looks lovely there too.
