Sunday Inspiration - A Vintage Chinoiserie Work Spot

via Mimosa and Monroe

Isn't this a chic little Chinoiserie work space? I love the mix of the vintage Queen Anne desk, a fabulous vintage palm chair with a fresh coat of white paint, and a fantastic white pagoda mirror. The color palette of pink, black, and white is girly but sophisticated. Check out the pink wall phone - another darling vintage touch. Also a great example that a work space can be carved out of a bedroom, a living room, or any available spot.

Dear Beth,
I have to ask you, after reviewing your laundry room makeover from October of 2013, where you found the gold shelving units. They are beautiful. I have seen these in stainless steel, but never gold.

Lisa - They were the stainless steel ones professionally brass plated, but one could do a DIY spray painting the stainless steel with brass paint or gold paint.
