Frankenstorm

I adore Halloween and was looking forward to three great Halloween events starting tonight. At the doggie Howloween party scheduled for Tuesday (where my dog has won most glamorous three years), my daughter, dog, and I were going as geishas this year.

Looks like it will be cancelled as we brace here on the East coast for Frankenstorm. In the last two years here in DC we had a winter with the most snow in history, an earthquake, a hurricane, and a derecho. We are now preparing for what could be another "perfect storm."

Here are some pictures of our past winning costumes as "Most Glamorous - The Dog That Shows Her Inner Diva."

  4. I'm sorry, I know how you were looking forward to this. I just hope we don't lose power. BTW, the last shot with the matching coats, is my favorite.

  5. You and your daughter are very glamorous, and you look young enough to be her sister! With blogs, who cares about storms? Dress up anyway and post pics!

  7. The three of you look smashing! Let's keep our fingers crossed that this storm doesn't amount to much, for anyone. Annapolis is crazy right now, even more than DC was yesterday, but the whole seaboard needs a good luck charm to keep us safe! Meanwhile...I am racking my brain to remember where that courtyard is. Looks like the Fairmont but also like a hotel on M st. I hate middle age brain muddle!

  10. I love, love, love these photos. You and your daughter look so glam, but your dog steels the show. What is his name?
