Here is an example of a bold take on the blue and white kitchen. Cabinets are painted in Benjamin Moore's Champion Cobalt, contrasting beautifully with the white ginger jars and Carrara marble. But the overdose of staged flowers, fruits, and vegetables? Enough already! What is this, a farmers market or a kitchen? Whoever told the magazines they had to go crazy with this? Wouldn't one tasteful arrangement suffice instead of dozens of gaudy yellow flowers, artichokes, and peaches, none of which go with the feel of the kitchen? I promise that when I have my kitchen reveal on the One Room Challenge there will not be a single staged radish.
