Porcelain Prints

Porcelain prints are a classic, and for someone like me who adores Chinese porcelain, they are a natural. I think this Ming wallpaper by Pierre Frey is incredibly elegant. Can't you see one of these used in an all white kitchen, a breakfast room, or a dining room? Don't be intimidated from using bolder wallpaper prints such as these. A room papered in this would not only be stunning, it obviates the need for art on the walls and a lot of accessories. Think about a white or black Saarinen Tulip table, Philippe Starck Louis Ghost chairs, white Chinese porcelains. This would keep the look modern, fresh, and sophisticated.  This wallpaper would also be amazing in a traditional setting-especially the blue version, in an all blue and white kitchen, breakfast room, or dining room. Gorgeous!

  1. A fanciful fabric with lots of visual impact. I think I like the gray one. Have a great weekend.

  5. What fun wallpaper! I'd love to see it lining a beautiful curio or china cabinet, too. Kind of a trompe l'oeil effect.

  6. Averill-What a fabulous idea. I would also work to buy one roll and frame panels for a breakfast room or dining room.

  9. I love this wallpaper but Im with Averill..lining a cabinet would be killer!! I've also been thinking about using only the bowl stacks in some sort of decoupage treatment on a small cabinet of mine....
