My Foyer

This house is my first ever that is entirely tile and I love it. These floors are one of the reasons I bought the house. I have never been one to go barefoot, but I do now - it feels so cool and wonderful under my feet. Tile floors actually reduce heat and humidity in the house. And cleaning is a breeze - a quick vac with the cordless Dyson. Once a week I use the All Purpose Cleaning Concentrate from The Laundress that I am addicted to - the smell is amazing. I am a big fan of their products in general. I personally find that beautiful cleaning tools and upscale cleaning products make cleaning more enjoyable, but then I love to clean my house. It's literally one of my favorite activities. Weird, I know. My dad especially brought us kids up to take great pride in our home and we were all taught how to care for everything in the home and it really rubbed off. I was a little tot polishing copper and silver! I think my dad would be proud of my home now. Thanks Dad.

And to the well intentioned commenter from a previous post that I should add area rugs, please stop, it ain't gonna happen. LOL.
