I have long had a thing for sea urchins. Their roe, also called uni, is my favorite food. You can eat it cooked or my favorite, as sushi. The sea urchin is also a popular motif in decor.

 I treated myself to these darling sea urchin earrings. I love statement earrings and with all of my hair, they are a necessity to be seen. Sea urchin or uni is by far my favorite food. The best dish I ever had in my life was sea urchin poached in Champagne at Lutece in NYC and not far behind was sea urchin carbonara at Vetri in Philadelphia. (In lands far away and long ago pre-pandemic with travel and dining in restaurants). I also adore it raw as sushi, the way it is most often eaten.
