A Blue and White Easter

Jenny Wolf Interiors - Country Living

This is such an elegant and easy floral arrangement for Easter, for Spring, or for any time of year for lovers of blue and white and chinoiserie. Create a tablescape with some of your blue and white Chinese porcelain. Here Jasperware Wedgwood (I have a collection) and blue and white books complete the blue and white table. A few stems of white hydrangeas make for a very simple but beautiful floral arrangement. Blue hydrangeas would also work very well. Another tip. I MUCH prefer tableskirts that are trimmed. Most dry cleaners can do this for you.

Ralph Lauren & Chinoiserie

Ralph Lauren

A beautiful space in quintessential Ralph Lauren style with lots of dark woods and blue and white Chinese porcelain. I love the round table stacked with books and a wonderful blue and white Chinese porcelain centerpiece filled with hydrangeas. There must be a hundred hydrangea stems!

Christmas Decorating Ideas

CB2

I really like the palm lighting fixture here - a modern approach to tropical chinoiserie. But I also like the garland on the leaning mirror. I have a huge leaning mirror in my vestibule where my gilded palm chandelier is and might borrow this idea. One could use faux or real, lit or unlit.

Here is another Christmas decorating idea from CB2. It looks like they put a black vase and a white vase side by side filled with hydrangeas with a bed of cut Christmas greenery.

Both of these are used in modern settings, but could be used anywhere.

CCC

CCC

I love blue and white Chinese porcelain and hydrangeas. I think they make a perfect combination. These pink beauties I picked up yesterday when I went to Publix for Wednesday Sushi Day.

Legend of Asia

CCC HG

The ginger jar on the right in the Legend of Asia photo looks just like this one I recently scored at HG.

I ordered the Samsung frame TV yesterday during Amazon Prime Days and got a great deal. I got the 55 inch with the white frame. Some of you have commented that you have this TV - I am super excited about choosing art for it - any tips?

Did you see that U.S. News & World Report has named the greater Sarasota area THE NUMBER ONE place in the entire country to retire? I done good. Another day in paradise.

Blue and White

Luxe Furniture and Homewares

This is such a simple idea, but so pretty. Fill a blue and white ginger jar with blue hydrangeas. Speaking of hydrangeas, have you seen this new one called Strawberry Sundae?

Strawberry Sundae Hydrangea

I am a bit south for it, but I think it would be fine in the right spot. Such a beauty! Imagine a huge blue and white ginger jar filled with these.

For flower arranging, I love roses, peonies, hydrangeas, and Oriental lilies. I really dislike mixed bouquets. I almost always use blue and white Chinese porcelain with the exception of my two Kate Spade Cloverdale vases that are great favorites.

Do you recall when Lonny magazine featured the bedroom of Lonny founder Michelle Adams with the Cloverdale vase on her bedside table? It was long discontinued at the time, and bloggers went nuts trying to find one or create a DIY. I was fortunate to find one on eBay and the other at HomeGoods.

Symmetry

Marshall Watson Interiors

I love the symmetry of the pair of oversized blue and white ginger jars on pedestals as well as the pair of hydrangeas in blue and white planters.
