Isn't this breakfast room by Tobi Fairley wonderful? I love the color palette of charcoal and yellow. Note that the cushions on the Chinese Chippendale chairs and built-in window seat are done in vinyl. The patterned fabric is a favorite of mine - Schumacher's Chenonceau. The only thing I might have done differently in the space is the rug, opting instead for a more understated sisal or sea grass. The Chinese Chippendale chair is pretty much the correct answer to any question - I love it in every room I see it.

Chinoiserie Chenonceau

A favorite fabric and wallpaper pattern of mine is Schumacher Chenonceau. This flora and fauna in silhouette is classic yet modern, simple but dramatic. The fabric is perfect for pillows, chair seats, curtains, or accessories. The wallpaper is ideal in many rooms including a foyer, dining room, breakfast room, or bedroom. I especially love the charcoal colorway. This pattern is destined to take its place next to Scumacher's Chiang Mai Dragon and Kelley Wearstler's Imperial Trellis for the Chinoiserie room.
