Another space from Liz Lange's fabulous Palm Beach home I posted about Friday (Breezeway), Saturday (Foyer), and Sunday (Master Bedroom). This outdoor area has rattan pendants from Serena & Lily, a table from Restoration Hardware, and vintage Salterini Greek Key chairs repainted in Benjamin Moore Dusk Pink. A beautiful combination of coral pink with aqua cushions.

I have always loved these chairs and passed up a set with table years ago. Oh well.... Here it is with the table - if you ever come upon it, grab it!

Here is a vintage Salterini chair and ottoman repainted in white with navy blue cushions.

Sunday Inspiration

Did you get that massive Restoration Hardware Spring 2012 catalog in the mail this week? It weighs as much as my dog! I have really fallen in love with their new Dumpster Collection. In this economy, it makes so much sense to spend thousands and thousands of dollars, yet have your home look like you found the furniture on the side of the road. Reverse chic. Chairman and CEO of Restoration Hardware Gary Friedman says it was inspired by Apple's Steve Jobs, "void of dogma, full of passion, and most importantly, represents our aspirations for what we want to become." A New Look for Chinoiserie Chic

I have come to a difficult decision. I've decided that starting today I will no longer feature Chinoiserie. I have fallen so totally in love with the Belgian look in interior design that I can no longer contain my enthusiasm. I will shop only at Restoration Hardware. I will use only salvaged, worm eaten, unstained wood. No more color for me-only beige, gray, or white. Linen will be my fabric of choice. Patterned wallpaper and fabric will be relegated to the past. Industrial pieces will fill my home and blog. Sparse and monochromatic will be my new look. Stay tuned-I am even working on a reclaimed blog banner.
