With Thanksgiving approaching, I thought it wold be fun to look at dining rooms that include Chinoiserie elements. I am also in the middle of redoing my own dining room that I will share when I finish.

Chinoiserie takes a major role in the dining room above featuring the classic wallpaper Clarence House Flowering Quince. The hot pink is an unexpected pairing.

Clarence House Flowering Quince wallpaper and fabric are favorites of mine, but this look doesn't come cheap. For $14.50 from Pearl River Mart, this beautiful Chinese lantern has the same feel. It would make a great lighting fixture for a bedroom or powder room.

High/Low Flowering Quince

I know we all love Flowering Quince wallpaper by Clarence House pictured below. These screens are a very budget friendly alternative, and would be great as a headboard, room divider, or focal point. They come in different color frames, and are only $90 for the 4 panel and $76 for the three panel. One of these would give a room a lot of Chinoiserie bang for the buck.
