This is from Amanda Lindroth's wonderful book Island Dreaming. I had no idea that sea fans get this large. I love sea fans, but mine are a fraction of this size. According to Wikipedia, they grow up to 5 feet. They are quite plentiful here in the Gulf Coast.
These are mine I found at HomeGoods a few years ago. They are in a vintage Kate Spade wicker and needlepoint handbag.
