New Mini CCC Dollhouse Finds

Dollhouse Art

I am going to try to take some pictures of my dollhouse later today. I have lots of fun finds to share. Today I'm sharing some pieces that are en route.

The framed art above is a vintage piece called "Badmitton" by Jan Balet. It will go in the family room. I loved playing badminton growing up and still have my badminton racket and it's on display at CCC.

I found these vintage needlepoint dollhouse rugs on eBay yesterday. Very chinoiserie with Greek key designs.

Needlepoint Dollhouse Rugs

My dollhouse has vintage needlepoint rugs in every room - so pretty.

These are miniature Longhorn chairs. The original full sized versions were made of long horn cow hide and actual bone of the cow or elk. They were popular in southwestern homes in the 1930s. These are going in the family room.

Lastly, I found this sample of a very expensive (over $600 a yard) Brunschwig & Fils silk fabric I will be using for a duvet for the bedroom.
