| Dollhouse Pool Set |
Happy February! This is the last month of winter and spring starts next month. I ordered the Chelsea dollhouse that I posted about yesterday. It will be a fun project to start during this extended cold snap here in Florida.

A dollhouse lets your imagination run free and create anything you like. The rattan beach house dollhouse will be like my home here in Florida and the Chelsea dollhouse will be my dream historic townhome in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was small, I had a number of pieces from the Ideal Toy Company's Petite Princess line of dollhouse furniture. Much of the line can be found on eBay. Wish I'd saved all of my items! The style is quite ornate and some reminds me of Hollywood Regency. I loved playing with my collection, and arranging all the different sets was a surefire way to keep me occupied and out of my mother's hair. I actually still have one of the items, a tiny oil painting, a landscape, which has held up well for 60 years.
