White for Halloween

The Potted Boxwood

Halloween does not have to be orange pumpkins. White Halloween decorations are used for this beautiful white colonial. After all, ghosts are white and mummies are white and skeletons are white. Here white pumpkins in all shapes and sizes flank the front door. Skeletons perch atop boxwood planters.

This is definitely an elegant and sophisticated version of Halloween. I think I will decorate outdoors this weekend. I too use white Halloween decorations with my white stucco house. I have a pair of white mermaid skeletons that perch on top of a pair of fishbowls with topiaries.

Here they are from a couple of years ago, but I am changing things around this year and will post when I finish.

White pumpkins are easily found. My Publix, for example, has all sizes ranging from mini to large.

  3. I recall you have posted this house before, and it's beautiful. I absolutely love those white planters with the round boxwood and trailing ivy, and the white pumpkins are very chic. My favorite pumpkins are the French Rouge Vif D'Etampes, or Cinderella pumpkins, but orange works well in my house.
