Happy Halloween to all! I love Halloween and will be sad to put my Halloween decorations away, but it means that Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. It is actually quite fall-like here, just in the seventies for a couple of days. I am hosting a Thanksgiving wine tasting and food pairing a week from tonight for thirty people, so I need to start thinking about Thanksgiving. It will be a fun preview featuring wines that pair beautifully with your Thanksgiving meal. Enjoy trick or treaters or whatever you will be doing tonight.

Happy Halloween, Beth. Your front porch looks very decked out. Sadly, we don't get trick or treaters in my neighborhood anymore, and haven't for a very long time. I really miss the little ones. They were always so adorable.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations. I'm debating whether or not to put up a tree this year. For the first time in my life, I am all by myself. It's challenging living alone in a big, old house. Traditionally, we did very large trees - about nine and a half feet - in the living room, as it's a huge room, and a small tree looks rather silly, but I don't know if I have the courage to take it on all by myself. Still, it's never really Christmas for me without a tree. Hope your party is a sensation. Cheers!
