More Easter @ CCC

CCC

I have several of these Amanda Lindroth wicker Birkin basket handbags that I purchased before she closed her online store. They are favorite handbags, but also make darling Easter baskets. Here I have filled one with paper grass and quail eggs.

Hydrangeas are of course a classic for Easter and look great in a blue and white ginger jar. Did you know that if a hydrangea stem wilts, you can immerse the stem in a container of boiling water and it will perk back up?

Here Amanda Lindroth has styled her Birkin baskets for Easter with an orchid and Easter eggs. I miss her store!

I saw that there is a kit for dyeing marshmallows instead of $$$$ eggs. The first-of-its-kind “Dip and Decorate Dozen” kit is a “festive, mess-free twist on egg decorating,” Jet-Puffed said in a press release. For just $1.99, the kit contains six colors with miniature tongs for dipping and decorating pens for designs. It also includes a 24-ounce bag of extra large marshmallows, which are about the same size as jumbo-sized eggs.

Marshmallow Decorating Kit

A few Easters ago we were not gathering because of the pandemic, and now we are dyeing marshmallows. Could things get any stranger? I buy my eggs at Aldi every week and they are always in the $4.00+ range. Not bad at all. I am a big Aldi fan anyway.

Here is my Easter topiary "bunny" all ready for the Easter egg hunt.
