One project I always do in January is to refresh my makeup bag. My cosmetic bag is a black patent Tory Burch that matches my Tory Burch wallet. Tory Burch is great quality and they last for years.
I have a larger one for travel, but I like a smaller one for my handbag with just the essentials. January is a good month to refresh and replenish your makeup bag. Perhaps your bag is is need of replacement. Here are some great options. I personally recommend investing in a quality makeup bag that will last for years as opposed to a cheap drugstore version. Choose one like you would a handbag for style and durability. I love black or dark colors or prints since makeup can be a little messy.

Next, check out your makeup. Any mascara or liquid eyeliner in your bag over 6 months old should be replaced because of high bacteria risk.

I just purchased a travel cosmetic organizer from Quince. I am a snowbird and I think this will make toting my cosmetics simple. I have a nylon cosmetic bag for my purse. My is Prada but Sonia Kashuk has a nice one in Target!
