Blue and White Chinoiserie Wax Melt Warmer |
I recently got my first wax melt warmer and really love it. This a blue and white chinoiserie version. You use it with wax cubes and the electric element gently melts the wax scenting your home without smoke or flame. I love it because I do not like leaving lit candles unattended.
Find it here. You can use any wax melts. I am a huge fan of Trapp candles - their candles have wonderful scents and great throw. Trapp has wonderful wax cubes too. You just put about three or four cubes in the dish and they gently melt and scent your home for hours.
This Orange Clove is my favorite this winter. I can't get enough of it.

I also just had the ingenious idea of using wax left at the bottom and sides of used candles. This happens to me all the time with expensive candles and this would be a great use for it. There are lots of ways to remove wax from a container. The freezer method is one.
Putting your candle jar in the freezer is a nifty trick that leverages cold to do the hard work. When wax freezes, it contracts, making it less adhesive and easier to remove from the glass. Simply place the candle jar in the freezer for a few hours or overnight.
Once the wax is frozen, use a butter knife or a spoon to gently pop it out. It should come out in chunks, leaving minimal residue.
Great to know! Thanks, Beth. Happy '25!
ReplyDeleteCan you use the wax cubes repeatedly, or do they evaporate as they warm? Love that they are flameless but still fragrant. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteThey evaporate but very slowly.
