Setting the Coastal Table

Kim Seybert

Posting late today. This is crazy - I got a new Xfinity modem in the mail the day before the hurricane. Needless to say I did not have the chance to set it up and I woke up today to no internet, no mobile, no TV.

They cut my service off although I am paying a fortune because I had not set up the new modem..... Seriously?

I just finished setting it up.

I love the coastal vibe of this table setting. Use rattan placemats. If you have wicker wrapped glasses, they work great as vases - I really like several little floral arrangements like this that don't block your view of others at the table.

Here are some great choices in palm tree candlesticks -

  1. Good morning Beth. I was concerned when first I logged on and saw yesterday's post. Xfinity is by far the worst internet service I've had. Ever. I feel your pain.
The Kim Seybert table is, as always, fabulous. So much fun to use her "stuff" when setting a table. You got me into palm tree candleholders some while ago and I use them all year. They bring the beach to the mountains.
Cailin Coastal is a great place to linger. It's a one of each please place.
    Thanks for including.

  2. I absolutely detest dealing with anything related to technology. I hope the Xfinity service works out well for you. Here in northern CA, I have everything bundled with them, and have found them to be overpriced for what you get, and their customer service is atrocious.

I adore those brass palm tree candlesticks on Kim Seybert's table!

  3. Isn’t this the norm for these obnoxious companies? Really, how ignorant to treat you this way. I feel your pain on this one. Thank you for all the great post’s Beth. You are too fabulous. By the way, if you find some beautiful chinoiserie upholstery fabric ideas to share, would you do a post? Your finds are delightful. Thanks Beth, Melissa M., Loudonville , NY.
