Mark D. Sikes - Architectural Digest |
The gorgeous Hollywood Hills home of Mark D. Sikes is filled with blue and white checks since his latest refresh. Above is Brunschwig & Fils blue and white gingham Carsten. It is such a timeless classic.
I do a lot of entertaining including hosting wine tastings and pairings. Larger events I host at my clubhouse and require a banquet size tablecloth for the table with the food platters. Most banquet size tablecloths are either plastic, paper, or thin polyester. I have found one I love in cotton and linen. And it comes in all different sizes and colors at a wonderful price!!!
It is available in 5 different sizes and 5 different colors - blue, green, khaki, light gray blue, and orange. It is a cotton and linen blend. It has darling tassel trim. And it starts at under $20. I got the largest size that is 55" by 120" for $32.00 in the blue. What a steal. It looks far more expensive.
This is not Brunschwig & Fils of course, but it is very nice quality for entertaining indoors or outdoors where additional tables are needed for seating or for food and beverages. It would be great for a garden party or garden wedding. I will be using mine for a wine tasting and pairing I am hosting this next weekend featuring American Pinot Noir and Southern cuisine.

DeleteI've seen photos of Mark's Hollywood Hills home, and it's gorgeous. I would love to see your Pinot Noir wine list too. I'm a Californian, but it's only in the last few years that I have ventured into the wine world, so I have a lot of catching up to do.
ReplyDeleteStarting my shopping week with the blue checked table cloth. Great find. Perfect for my upcoming outdoor events. Two herringbone blankets for updating guest rooms. Thank you Beth. You always seem to know what I don't need but covet.
