Lenox British Colonial is my everyday china and I love it. It is perfect for Florida. I use it with many of the things you see here like rattan chargers, pineapples, palm fronds, and tropical fruits and flowers. But I prefer it with bamboo flatware.
I love this idea of using a leaf as a place card. Just use a clean and dry leaf and write the names using white paint pens. Many leaves from your garden or even house plants will work well.

My Dad served in World War II. On this 80th Anniversary of D-Day, let us never forget the price of freedom and democracy. Let us try to be worthy of the sacrifice so many have made.
So pretty! Where would I find the white pineapple?
ReplyDeleteMy dad served in WWII also, as did my uncles. There aren't many of the greatest generation that are still with us. I think it was RR who said that freedom is a fragile thing, and is never more than one generation away from extinction.
