A Florida Christmas

One Kings Lane

How's this for very chic styling of this fireplace with Florida flair? I love the pair of alligators. Many people assume that alligators are found all over the world.

In fact, alligators are native to only two countries - the United States and China. They are endangered in China with only about 150 left in the wild. In contrast, the United States has millions.

They live in the coastal regions on the Atlantic coast. They thrive in North Carolina’s wetlands and Florida’s swamplands. There’s also a large population of gators along the Gulf coast.

Louisiana has two million wild gators while Florida has around 1.3 million. Texas is no slouch either. There are around 400,000 to 500,000 alligators living in this state. Meanwhile, Georgia has 200,000 to 250,000 gators. South Carolina has about 100,000 of these reptiles.

I love the styling of the fireplace above. The tabletop Christmas trees I posted on here would work beautifully on the mantel. I also like the Otomi inspired blue and white Christmas stockings. Click here for elegant stocking holders I recently posted on.

Looking for more tropical Christmas decorating inspiration? I love this palm Christmas tree. Add a few ornaments or use it like this. So fun. It is pre-lit with 250 warm white lights.
