Wicker and chinoiserie are wonderful ways to warm up a kitchen, especially an all white kitchen. Here rattan counter stools, a chandelier, a pedestal and urn, and a natural fiber rug work beautifully. Chinoiserie touches include a blue and white ginger jar and plates on the wall.
It's easy to do this in your own kitchen just by adding small accessories. I have lots of wicker in my own kitchen - Amanda Lindroth wicker wrapped hurricanes, Amanda Lindroth island trays, wicker baskets, and wicker wrapped candles. And of course blue and white Chinese porcelain - ginger jars and a wine chiller.
This is one of my favorite pieces at a great price just in time for the holidays - a blue and white Canton wine bucket with a rattan handle. I have mine on my island.
