Dunbar Road Design - House Beautiful

I have subscribed to House Beautiful for decades, but lately I have been enjoying my subscription more than ever. The Fall 2023 issue is quite wonderful, and I especially love the Dallas home by interior designer Dunbar Road Design.

This new issue is the Shopping Issue and there are some great articles. I especially liked the piece in which they asked interior designers their favorite affordable design item from a big box or online store.

No surprise to me, the most designers responded with things from HomeGoods/T.J.Maxx. 

Hillary Taylor chose heavy sateen sheets at HomeGoods like those from little known Italian and discontinued companies, and has them monogrammed. This is an example - I  bought this exact set and they are comparable to far more expensive sheets.

Nikki Pulver chose coffee table books from HomeGoods. I have found lots of great discounts on beautiful interior design books including out of print ones.

Breegan Jane chose marble pieces from T.J.Maxx, like candleholders and occasional tables - "it's stunning, never goes out of style, and mimics the serenity we feel outdoors.
