Happy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July! These are fireworks on the beach in Venice at the South Jetty. 

Although the fireworks in DC are quite spectacular, fireworks on the beach here are hard to beat. Enjoy your day however you will be celebrating.

    Happy 4th, Beth. Gorgeous picture of fireworks at the beach. For many years California has outlawed fireworks for private use, and instead we have large fireworks shows. However, this year there will not be any because the state said they pollute the air. So sad.

      Thank you, Anonymous. I was incorrect when I made that comment. Only certain cities and counties in CA have banned them for that reason.
