Setting the Summer Table

Lenox

This is a fun and quick DIY that I absolutely love. Using a place card at each table setting is very old school and elegant.

This is an easy and chic version. Collect leaves from your garden in an appropriate size. Foliage can also be procured from a florist or grocery store. Wipe each leaf with a damp paper towel front and back and let dry. Then use a paint pen to write the names. I tend to like metallic pens the best. Let the ink dry before using. Magnolia leaves are a great choice if you have one in your garden, but so many leaves will work. I also prefer to write the names in script.

These are great pens and come in a set of 6 with 2 each of gold, silver, and bronze.

Sharpie Metallic Permanent Markers in Fine

I really like this very elegant 18K gold pen - the tip can be used to write calligraphy style or fine -

This DIY can be used any time of year using seasonal foliage and colors.
