I love dressing up and do so every day which is a bit of an oddity here in South Florida were most people wear shorts everywhere. (Especially on the Gulf Coast which tends to be more casual). I don't think most women in their shorts and t-shirts realize how easy and cool and comfortable a dress is in hot weather. At any rate, I love dressing up and have lots of events coming up that call for dressy dresses. Perhaps you have weddings or other special occasions on the horizon too.
Here are some options I think are quite fabulous. This first citron feather dress is exactly my style. Yellow is having a moment this spring and summer - such a happy color.

I wore the Blythe dress in navy to a wedding last summer. I looked fabulous and was comfortable all evening. The festive bow in the back was the icing on the cake. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteLove them all. I find dresses to be the best all around easy breezy outfits to wear in the summer. Put one on and you're done. No trying to find the right top with the right bottom, no tight waists and hot inseams 90 degree weather, no frumpy untucked tops over shorts. You can look well put together without much fuss.
