Ralph Lauren |
I hope many of you will be spending a lovely day today with your father and/or husband. For those who have lost a father, or husband, a brother, or son, may your day be filled with wonderful memories.
I don't think anyone does a masculine version of chinoiserie better than Ralph Lauren, so I thought today I would share some favorites. His rooms are filled with navy and white, stripes, oversized pieces, and dark woods, giving them a more masculine vibe.

Love the Ralph Lauren versions of Chinoiserie! Gorgeous blue and white and dark mahogany combinations.
ReplyDeleteNo one does it like Ralph.
ReplyDeleteLove your post!
ReplyDeleteBeth, I had forgotten it was Father's Day until I opened your post. I lost my dad six and a half years ago, in 2015. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and miss him.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the RL images. His work is always beautiful and elegant, but inviting and relaxed at the same time. (Somehow I think Ralph is a wonderful father too!)
I've always coveted that stunning navy and white striped sofa, and the black and white dining room is glamorously gorgeous. The picture of the outdoor patio and grounds must be of his home in Bedford, NY.
