I was waiting to post about it until it restocked somewhere and it just restocked at a really great price. This is a really stunning faux tree and I can't recommend it highly enough. I'll take pictures this morning once there is some light in the room. This really makes a statement. A word to the wise - this is likely to sell out again.

It would look wonderful in a blue and white Chinese fishbowl or a big chunky basket. I used this basket and love the look. I topped it with lots of preserved sheet moss.

It looks a lot like this.

Here it is in my great room in the large size basket.

UPDATE - I knew it would sell out once I posted on it and it has! Amazon is just showing a third party vendor selling it for more than twice the price. "He who hesitates is lost." (From Joseph Addison's 1712 play 'Cato').
Very tempting. Can you tell whether it is possible to thin out a bit of denseness in the middle so you could see a few branches as in Mark Sikes'tree?
ReplyDeleteWith every faux tree, you of course have the option of removing leaves and small branches to style it as you wish.
DeleteIt's already sold out at noon EDT; it looks like a really lovely tree!
ReplyDeleteI will post when they restock.
DeleteThis is my favorite Mark Sikes room! And this faux plant is a great find. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteA favorite room of mine as well.
DeleteA spectacular addition to your home.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much.
DeleteWhat a great find and it looks wonderful in your home.
ReplyDeleteMark is celebrating his 10th anniversary, and has a new house in Ojai, CA called Orange Hill Farm. From the pictures I've seen, I think it's his most beautiful! He also has another book coming out.
ReplyDeleteThose are inspiration photos, not his house. They are just in the design phase.
DeleteI do not think his next book is coming out any time soon. Building Beauty will follow the process of building his new home.
DeleteI posted a comment on his instagram site. He said, "There will be another book. Stay tuned". He did not specify exactly when that will be.
DeleteI said in my comment to you that his next book is apparently to be titled Building Beauty and will follow the building of Orange Hill Farm. Since the house is not yet built, there is obviously not a date yet on the book.
