Styling the Rattan Bar Cart

Amanda Lindroth

I love a wicker/rattan bar cart and it is so much fun to style - I have two! Amanda has given it an island/tropical vibe with a sea fan, palm fronds, lemons, limes, oranges, a pineapple, seashells, and a wicker pitcher, ice bucket, island tray, and block print linens from her collection.

Here are my favorite rattan bar cart options and some chic ideas for styling it.

Lyford Bar Table

South Seas Bar Cart

Marari Rattan Bar Cart

Sanibel Bar Table

Chinoiserie Champagne Bucket

Rattan Champagne Bucket

Canton Collection Bucket

Bamboo Fretwork Bucket

Gold Bamboo Ice Bucket

Gold Bamboo Bar Set

Pineapple Cocktail Shaker

Monogrammed Cocktail Napkins

Pinaq Liquer - check your local liquor store or Total Wine & More

On another note, Sarasota County has a large Ukrainian population and someone who works for me is from Ukraine and his entire family is there. Sarasota is the hub of the Ukrainian population in Southwest Florida. My prayers and support are with the people of Ukraine during these terrible days.

  1. Hi Beth! LOVE the rattan bar cart and I have the one you recommended from Bed Bath Beyond- I really should buy an extra one - if I ever need a pair as nightstands in a guest room... Yes, prayers to Ukraine- horrible..

    Best,

  2. I have the Amanda Lindroth rattan bar car---as I saw it and purchased it when you first mentioned it some months ago. Currently, I am using it as a bedside table in one of our guest rooms.

  4. Thank you for your support of Ukraine. My father's parents both emigrated from Ukraine to Chicago, where he was born, around 1915. I'm sure I must still have family there and yes, it is heartbreaking.

  7. Beth,

I love this post on bar carts. I have one of the bar carts you recommend, but I have not styled it yet.
I am praying for the people of Ukraine. I read this passage in a book I am reading this morning--about a butterfly farm in Belize--It seems very applicable to this situation.
"This is how the world works. When liars and cheats in power put everything--people's trust, their livelihoods, even the fate of the planet--at risk, it's up to regular people to team up and save the day." From The Fallen Stones by Diana Marcum--a true story.
The Ukrainians are bravely stepping up and standing up to Russia. Although we are far away, we can band together and offer our prayers.
