With Valentine's Day approaching, the stores are filling with junky merchandise. Hearts need not be kitschy. These are all wonderful choices, elegant and fun, and not just for Valentine's Day.
This pretty pink guest bedroom features a favorite wallpaper of mine - Brunschwig & Fils Les Touches, combined with strie headboards and a pair of white Juju hats. I think Juju hats are a great choice above a headboard - I have one above the headboard in my guest bedroom. BTW, Les Touches is a design that plays beautifully with chinoiserie.
The iconic and beloved Les Coeurs by D Porthault heart linens were designed in the 1950s at the request of the Duchess of Windsor by Madeleine Porthault to express the couple's love and commitment to each other.
I have these sunglasses in every single color they make. I have the pink, red, black, and white. The pink come in your choice of two different color lenses. The quality is excellent! I wear them all the time and people stop me and ask where to get them. And they are $10.99 and some are two different pairs for under $15.00. I have sunglasses by Chanel, Tom Ford, and other designer sunglasses and wear these more! These are knockoffs of sunglasses that sell for $400. They are cat eye and very flattering. The pink and red ones would makes darling little Valentine's Day gifts too!
The bedroom is so pretty, and fun, and no matter how old I get, the girly-girl in me always cries out for something pink. Setting girly-girl aside for a moment, I believe some pinks can be rather sophisticated. (The sunglasses are fun too.)
ReplyDeletePink is my favorite color!
