This is a fun dining room by Shelley Johnstone that combines chinoiserie and beachy/tropical elements. I love a round skirted table. Interesting that she combines rattan Chinese Chippendale chairs with grotto shellback chairs.
The ceiling is lacquered in a sky blue - haint blue ceilings are not just for porches anymore. The capiz shell chandelier and shell chairs are both beach inspired choices.
Lots of stripes - the chair cushions and wallpapered walls. I love pink and the pink pillows, piece of art, and banding on the table skirt and curtains are lovely touches.

Have you set your table for New Years Eve yet? I bet you are excited for daughters arrival!!! I think the dinning room here is lovely,elegant,and calming.
