Venice, Florida |
One year ago today I moved (escaped) into my new home in Venice, Florida. For those of you who are longtime followers of Chinoiserie Chic, you know that I could write a book. I left 90% of the horror of it all off this blog, but looking back now I am amazed I made it out alive. Things could have ended far differently.
But now I am truly living the dream. I have never been happier and realize every day what a blessing my new life is. I love my life and would not change a thing. I am also really enjoying writing Chinoiserie Chic more than ever, and have some new ideas and plans that I will be rolling out over the next few weeks.
I have been blogging on CC for over 12 years with over 5,000 posts if you can believe it. Thank you all for your support and for hanging in with me. The best is yet to come.
Glad you are happy and saved, strong woman you are. I enjoy your writings. Happy anniversary in the new home.

DeleteKudos to you, Beth. I'm so happy you are where you are. I remember, and I was scared for you too. In fact, it scares me even now to hear you say that you are amazed you made it out alive. Perhaps, at some point, you should write a book.

The joy you find in creating your posts is very clear, it's an act of love. Love for chinoiserie for those that share the same love. "May you have fair winds and following seas" in your tropical paradise.

ReplyDeleteThanks for thinking of me. Everything is wonderful.
DeleteI’ve spent hours this afternoon reading from this post backwards, to before you bought your Venice home. I agree with the woman who said write a book. I’ve been in a similar relationship and I also remember how glorious it was to get my own place. Also, I have blue and white in every room in my 1940s cottage. I’m so glad you and the pups have moved on.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. I hope you too are safe and happy. Did you see my daughter is in Annapolis?
