A Pink Christmas

House Beautiful UK

Here is great inspiration for lovers of pink. This is so pretty, especially in this rustic setting. Note the wicker tree collar. Theses collars have become very popular and I love them. My daughter is using a wicker one from Target on her tree this year. I prefer them now to a tree skirt - skirts to me are always messy dust collectors that just turn into a dog or cat bed. You can find tree collars in wicker, seagrass, copper, galvanized metal, etc.

  1. I love using these collars. I bought a red collar from Crate and Barrel a couple of years ago and really like the pop of color and the neatness of the tree. I am looking to get the silver color after Christmas. Thinking ahead to next year.

  2. It's very pretty, and I happen to love pink.

A bit off subject, but the other night I watched a documentary on PBS about The Ritz hotel in London, and they covered the hotel's Christmas preparations and celebrations. If you or any of your readers want to watch a feel-good fantasy about a spectacular hotel, I highly recommend it. It was just over-the-top fabulous!

    2. I watched that documentary as well. It was so interesting to see the hotel transformed literally overnight. Amazing.

    1. They are easily found - Target, HomeGoods, Pottery Barn, etc. etc.

  4. So pretty. I think I want to get a tree collar for next year. I hate storing seasonal decor though. The skirt is nice bc I just fold it over a hangar and store in a closet.

  5. I LOVE pastels at Christmas, especially pink! I really love the look of tree collars, but tree skirts are so much easier to store.

    1. I have an oversized garage and in January I am having lots of shelving put in, so luckily storage will not be an issue for me here.
