Setting the Thanksgiving Table

Traditional Home

Here is inspiration for setting the Thanksgiving table for those of us whose color palette is not in the autumnal browns and golds and for a more tropical rather than cozy vibe for warmer climates. I love the aqua and coral colors. Note the faux bamboo hurricanes and black faux bamboo flatware. And as you can see, this is set outdoors which with the pandemic is a safer option for entertaining if one has that option. I know here lots of folks are planning on a beach Thanksgiving meal.

  1. This is perfection! Those lanterns...just wow. I use those colors in my house, although I'm moving more toward blue. I love them but my kids call them my "Howard Johnson's" color palette. How do they even know what that is?

  2. So beautiful. If you're not already on the mailing list for pomegranate Linens, join. They have beautiful woodblock prints so suitable for southern, coastal, and Chinoiserie tablescapes. Their twice annual attic sale is amazing.
