| The Master Bath Now |
I am especially happy with the master bath mini reno, and when I say mini I mean mini. Here it was pictured below when I bought the house. I really liked everything but the countertop/sinks. I love the tile, the glass blocks window, large shower, garden tub, separate toilet room, even blue and white knobs on the vanity.

But the countertop and molded sinks were so "cheesy motel." And check out the lighting fixture in the toilet room. So, with a quartz remnant, the blue and white Chinese porcelain dragon sinks I have posted about, new faucets from Lowe's, and a sale chandelier from Pottery Barn Kids, the master bath is now upscale and updated. The next door neighbor who knows the house well thought the bathroom had been completely redone. The cost for the quartz countertop, vessel sinks, faucets, lighting, and all labor came in well under $2,000. I am delighted with it. I have the master suite I have always wanted.
My gardener is coming over today for some more garden cleanup and then I will be ready to start the fun part - looking for plants on my list and planting. I hope everyone has a fun but safe weekend.

DeleteSo lovely, and look at ALL that counter space just for yourself! The blue and white pulls are a wonderful detail.
ReplyDeleteTry one of the monkeys in the corner of the tub to hold some soap or a nice stack of wash cloths...or sponges.
Have fun in the garden. It's the best instant gratification work there is and it does wonders for the soul.
I'll experiment with the monkeys - they like to stay together. I had a great day in the garden.

Yes, there is tile work in both bathrooms and the lanai and antique stained glass transoms in the master bedroom. Lot of detail that I love.

DeleteThat looks amazing! The sinks are swoon worthy!! How sturdy are they? I have visions of my husband wacking the side with a can of shaving cream or klutzy me hitting one with my blow dryer. I am a Vessel Virgin, always had boring ordinary sinks! The “lipstick” on your tray is so fun too.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Chinese porcelain is very sturdy. I've even had pieces in the garden for decades. No worries. The lipstick is Kosta Boda - I love it.
