I would love to grow topiary lemon trees and they are readily available here even at Lowe's and Home Depot. Check out this chic vignette with a lemon topiary in a beautiful blue and white cachepot and Quadrille Paradise Garden curtains and cushion. I love the wicker stool. And yes, I do use shoes for staging as well.

In the vignette above, check out how they have used seashells in lieu of moss - adorable! Definitely using this idea. I doubt all those Meyer lemons came off of that little tree though!
I suspect the topiaries would fare much better in the lanai than the house, but they do look great.

Just wonderful! I love the look of topiary citrus trees, and always wanted to have a pair of them flanking my living room fireplace, but I live in northern CA, and I'm not sure how well they would fare.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea. I suspect here I would rotate them inside and out.
DeleteLove the citrus trees that grow in yards and on lanais here in Florida! I have a friend that has so many Myer lemons in the winter that she shares with me and they are fabulous. Thumbs up for using shoes in staging...adds a personal warmth to the photo. Someone actually lives there. The green driver mocs are perfect in the top pic. In the same pic, I am baffled by the extension of the ceiling stripes on the wall surrounding the niche? Is a bit unsettling to me.
