Blue and White

If you like your Chinoiserie with a more beachy/casual/comfortable vibe, take some tips from Mark Sikes. Stripes are a must. As I posted about as a Chinoiserie trend this year, the collection of blue and white Chinese porcelain is composed of single pieces as opposed to pairs. Vintage rattan furniture gives a rustic feel. Iron candleholders and sconces are another more relaxed choice. I love the Greek key mirror.

    Mark is one of my absolute favorite designers. He is so very talented, isn't he? Do you have his book? It was my favorite from the Fall book releases and it's just full of great inspiration. Thanks for sharing!
