A blue and white Chinese lamp by Vaughan pops in this little office nook. The foliage Zoffany wallpaper and pale blue ceiling give it a garden vibe. The traditional chair has been updated with white paint and a red leather seat. I love the lacquered green door.
What an interesting visual trick this wallpaper is. It expands the small nook into a garden room. If I try to visualise it with plain paint work, without the wallpaper, I see a small, mean, closed in space. The wallpaper opens out the area. Very clever.
