The two most frequent questions I get when I post photos of my home are about the leopard print in my dining room and the Chinese Chippendale counter stools in my kitchen. So today I'll source both of these for you adding several other options as well.
The leopard giclee is by Caitlin McGauley and it is still available
here. I have also been eyeing
the zebra print.
Along the same lines, I also love
The Pink Pagoda's Cheetahs that are available in several colors - I especially like
the blue and
the pink.
The Aesthete also has a wonderful
Cheetahs watercolor giclee print.
Unfortunately, the metal Chinese Chippendale counter stools in my kitchen are from Ballard Designs and are no longer available.
But I have a couple great alternatives for you. Ballard Designs has
these Chinese Chippendale counter stools in solid beech wood available in a Rubbed White or Warm Gray. They are also available as
barstools. They are very well priced too.
Horchow has
these Chinoiserie barstools available in blue or white and they are 25% off. These are metal like mine and they are great looking. They can even be used outdoors.
They also have it available in a very fun orange -
The fabric on my stools is
Brunschwig & Fils Xian that I had vinylized - it lasts forever and never gets soiled.
Beth, thank you EVER SO much for the info. on your bar stools. While I am disappointed your exact version is no longer available, I love the alternatives you have given us. Again, much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteThank you for featuring my cheetahs! Did you see how in the ORC Chez V used two of them facing? That looked fabulous and a customer requested that yesterday -- hope she'll send me a photo! I'd love to know more about how you had your fabric treated.
ReplyDeleteLove the cheetahs, thanks Beth for the sources!! And I too would love to know more about vinylizing fabric... Is it too late once the chairs are upholstered?
ReplyDeleteXOXO,
The Glam Pad
Love it all and am thinking about the Ballard stools!

We used the barstools and the chairs in our kitchen and recovered the seats with a fun koi Waverly chintz- can't say enough good things about the chairs. Highly recommend.
ReplyDeleteI think a post is in the making about how you vinylized your chair fabric, Beth. Inquiring minds want to know.
ReplyDeleteLove your chairs! I'm with Andrea. Can you give some info about getting fabric vinylized? I have two little messy girls and this sounds like something I need in my life. Thanks!!
